Aviation Disaster Family Assistance Act of 1996

The Aviation Disaster Family Assistance Act of 1996, Pub. L. No. 104-264, limited unsolicited contacts by lawyers and insurance company representatives with airline crash victims or their families so that the families can act when they are no longer under extreme duress and, therefore, more capable of making fully informed decisions.
