We are saddened to hear of former Missouri state Senator Ed Emery’s untimely death. Senator Emery was not only a champion of tort reform, but a pillar in his community. We join his friends and family in mourning his passing, including his daughter Elizabeth who served as ATRA’s Assistant Director of Legislation from 2006 to 2009. We are grateful for Senator Emery’s years of service, and his leadership will be missed greatly in Missouri.
